The right to protest an embarrassment?

Rather than standing up for what he believes, ace quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been kneeling.

Kneeling has long been an expression of devout belief.  Kaepernick has simply been exercising his right to protest the nation's ills.  Even a cursory glance at the Bible will

reveal that prophets have been doing the same for ages.

Nevertheless, an NFL executive has called Kaepernick “an embarrassment to football.”  Teams are saying that they will not pursue him in 2017 if he continues to kneel.  The

Chicago Bears, for example, have signed “the inexperienced Mike Glennon” rather than the seasoned Kaepernick.

Their loss, and America’s also.
