Real Help, Virtually

If you’re one of the most vulnerable during this pandemic but really want to help, there are significant ways to do so from a home office.

You can begin by regularly checking in with friends and family.  The circle can then widen to include volunteer
organizations.  Local non-profits may need administrative help.  Donations can also be a real boost.

Virtual-type opportunities abound throughout the nation and world. Through United National Volunteers, you can lend your talents to international organizations.  Translators Without Borders links people “fluent in more than one language” with “crisis relief, health and education” efforts.

And if all this seems too earthbound, then galaxy mapping through Zooniverse might just be your thing…
