Adam Castillejo calls himself “an ambassador of hope.”
Due to stem-cell treatments that appear to replace his “own immune cells with donor ones,” Castillejo has remained HIV free for about two and a half years.
Longer-range results have yet to be determined, but progress against viral infections is certainly evolving.
