Lose the Sucralose?

Sucralose is a “low-calorie sweetener” that is often added to drinks and treats.

Previous studies concerning the effects of sucralose consumption have been mixed.  Some have reported health problems, others have not.

A Yale study has now potentially explained such discrepancies.  It found that when a carbohydrate is added to the mix, problems can occur.  Consuming a sucralose-sweetened drink on its own may have no ill effects, but chomping on French fries while doing so
may cause trouble.
