Although life in the American South has traditionally involved beaches, Florida’s Senator Rick Scott is now warning folks to avoid them.
Let’s face it, Florida’s beaches are not known to foster social distancing. Spring break is upon us, and with that comes an opportunity for thousands to throw caution to tropical winds.
Scott does offer one safe alternative. He states that seaside is okay if “you
can somehow be completely by yourself.”
Try telling that to South Beach wannabes.
