Dally with Dali

Divina Comedia, 1555 (Photo by Fivedit)
Those who dally in thrift shops never quite know what they’re going to find.

While Wendy Hawkins was going through some items at a Kitty Hawk, North Carolina shop, she happened to notice “something special.”  It turned out to be an authentic Salvador Dali piece from the 1950s.

The signed woodcut print, titled Purgatory Canto 32, was part of his series illustrating The Divine Comedy.  This famous poem by Dante Alighieri describes a “fictional journey” from hell to paradise.
