Swiss Greens

Although Swiss political change has historically moved at a glacial pace, glaciers are melting rather quickly these days.

As is Swiss resistance to environmental change.  The Swiss Greens have gained an astonishing “six-point bump” in popularity, resulting in their “taking 13.2% of the vote.”

This is welcome news because ETH Zurich research recently revealed “that more than 90%” of Alps glaciers could “disappear by 2100 if greenhouse gas emissions are not curbed.”
