So it comes as no surprise that Moon Enceladus contains some Earth-like "DNA." NASA’s
latest finding is that “organic molecules” are being ejected from vents within this icy satellite of Saturn.
Such molecules contain nitrogen and oxygen, two potential building blocks of amino acids.
Since amino acids “are essential to life as we know it,” this could be big news. On the other
hand, it’s a huge leap from simple elements to complex organisms...
