Moons over Saturn

Saturn System Montage    (NASA image)
Many a moon has been passing over Saturn: some heading in one direction, some in another.

Scientists have thus far discovered 82 of them, making Saturn the “Moon King” of our solar system.  More are suspected, which could bring the total higher than 100.

Many of these moons are way smaller than our own lunar companion.  Some are just about “2 to 4 miles (3 to 6 km) in diameter.”  But Titan is mighty, with a diameter larger than Mercury’s.
