'Peter Pan' at Wendy's

J. M. Barrie’s original Peter Pan brought great joy to gal pal Wendy, so much so that she temporarily forgot her everyday troubles.

A Wendy’s employee recently followed Pan’s legendary example.  After noticing a blind couple among the customers, Richard Wise-Attwood flitted about, making sure that they had extra special service.

A nearby customer, Cindy Griswold, was so impressed with Wise-Attwood’s kindness that she captured it all on video.  Griswold then posted the video to social media, where “it has since struck a heartstring with many.”

This brings hope to all adults who fear that maturity is the antithesis of joy.  If Wise-Attwood can spark a new day at Wendy’s, then (by golly) so can we.
