Giddy-up, 'Uber'

Although technically not affiliated with Uber, Timothy Hochstedler’s horse-and-buggy service is being called the Amish version of such.

Hochstedler does not have an app, but customers can flag him down as he rides past on weekends.  Based in rural Saint Joseph County, Michigan, he promises to drop folks off by their doorsteps.

Gas-producing rather than gas-guzzling, Hochstedler’s horses provide leisurely opportunities for smelling the roses and that which fertilizes them.
