What Money Can't Buy

The Beatles sang a song called “Can’t Buy Me Love,” and a Texas mother just proved it.

When offered $250,000 for her baby by a fellow Walmart shopper (can’t make this stuff up), she replied that “no amount of money would do.”   When the offer was then doubled (!), the loving parent held firm.

Turns out that an offer like this can be “a third-degree felony.”  The wayward shopper was arrested and “charged with sale or purchase of a child.”
