It’s been decades in the making, but the world’s superpowers have finally agreed that a nuclear war would be to no one’s benefit.

In a recently-issued joint statement, the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France affirmed that it’s their responsibility to see that such a disaster never occurs.  Following through with this resolve remains a work in progress, yet a candle of hope has now been lit.

Einstein long ago warned that “World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”  Let it never come to that.
