When formerly asked whether she feared death, White would repeatedly say that she didn’t. She looked forward to learning firsthand what comes next and was longing to reunite with Allen Ludden.
It’s a hopeful sign that she called out his name just before death. Perhaps Ludden was right there with her, as she always wished he would be. She’s now immersed in the “what comes next,” as we too will inevitably experience.
