Politics aside, Disney’s Minnie is finally trading in her red ensemble for a blue one. She’s also morphing from short skirts to pants suits.
Nothing but the best for our Minnie, so fashion designer Stella McCartney (aka “Paul’s daughter”) is orchestrating this transformation. McCartney even claims to resonate with Minnie’s “values.”
Which are? According to Stella, inspiring Minnie “embodies happiness, self-expression [and] authenticity.” This seems kind of strange, considering that Minnie’s every quality has been dictated by the cartoon powers on high.
