Onward and Upward

Pilots have long reported the existence of things that others have discounted.  There have been accounts of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and of blue lightning upward flashes.

The latter has recently been evidenced by a photograph taken from the International Space Station.  Astronaut Thomas Pesquet “captured the shot” just a few weeks ago.

So it kind of makes a body wonder: What other firsthand reports might one day be substantiated and/or publicly verified?  Reality does not always coincide with accepted theories.  At that point, science must adjust.
