Is this democracy?

Some say that staging a protest right outside a senator’s bathroom stall is a legitimate part of the democratic process.  Others consider this tactic to be grossly inappropriate.

When compared to such events as the American Revolution, it seems relatively civil.  But when compared to what’s thought of as polite society, it seems highly “unacceptable.”  Ugly is often in the eye of the beholder.

And as Churchill famously declared:  “Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time…”
