Jill Karofsky recently had a successful run in more ways than one.
She was sworn in as the New Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice at the 35-mile point of her 100-mile ultramarathon feat. It took approximately 34 hours for Karofsky to reach the finish line, and her political race took considerably longer.
Such accomplishments require true grit, which bodes well for vigorous public service.
