Believe it
or not, wrong numbers can also occur from the
International Space Station. Why just the
other day, astronaut Andre Kuipers
dialed 911 by mistake. NASA sprang into action,
checking to make sure that everything
was okay.
Turns out
that Kuipers simply hit 9 instead of
0. This became 911, rather than
011 (“the code for the U.S.”). Could happen to anyone, especially to someone who is literally spaced out.
