Scheduled to
open at Park MGM in early
February, Spears had to suddenly cancel these
shows indefinitely. As she explained in
heartfelt messages to fans, her father has
been seriously ill for weeks.
Spears feels
the need to be right there with him during
this critical time. She stated, “It’s
important to always put your family first.” This is especially commendable, given the
golden opportunity that she is putting
aside. MGM Resorts has been
quite supportive
of her decision.
