A group of
kids wearing Make America Great Again
hats approached Nathan
Phillips, “an Omaha elder who is also a
Vietnam veteran and former director of the
Native Youth Alliance.”
As Phillips
tried to calm down some growing tension
between them and a group of
African-Americans,
the MAGA group got in his face, allegedly chanting “build
that wall, build that wall.”
Phillips
kept his cool and later expressed the wish that
all their “energy” could instead have been used to
make “this country really really great.”
