Mooning over Saturn

Saturn and Friends   (NASA photo)
Romeo and Juliet ain’t got nothing over Enceladus and Saturn.

It appears that the latter two have been communicating for eons.  Their plasma exchanges are accompanied by some out-of-this-world moaning.

Such antics were recorded by Cassini, shortly before her nose dive into oblivion.  Enceladus, it turns out, is no deadhead like Diana (Earth’s own moon goddess).  She’s a hot “little generator” that flaunts stripped-down water vapor Saturn’s way.

This goes a long way toward bridging the “hundreds of thousands of miles” between them.  Maybe one day Saturn will even put a ring on it.
