He took it on the cheek

A golden-retriever puppy was   out for a morning walk with his beloved human when he noticed a rattler in their path.

Determined to thwart this danger, the puppy ran up ahead.  The rattler, sensing its own brand of danger, bit the puppy’s cheek.

Paula Godwin has since asked for healing prayers.  After all, puppy Todd had potentially sacrificed his life for her own. More than 1,000 replies came through Godwin’s Facebook site.

Godwin recently reported the following:  Todd’s doing so well he is a wonder to me how he is healing.
