Hey, Math is Fun!

If you’re one of the many who shun mathematics, then you obviously haven’t had Iswari Natarajan as a

teacher.

Natarajan not only teaches that math is fun, but that calculus is double the pleasure.  In fact, her “entire class” at St. Mary’s Academy (“an all-girls high school”) achieved “a score of five on the AP Calculus exam.”  Her three previous classes have had the same “incredible success.”

What is the secret to that success?  Natarajan transmits the idea that “math is fun.”  She helps to make it so by instilling feelings of confidence within pupils, who are then empowered to “push their academic limits.”
