When “over
6,000 singles from 11 countries were
asked what trait they found most
attractive,” guess what 75 percent
answered? No, not hips. Not even
lips. But what those lips uttered in more
than one language did win out.
What makes
a bilingual person so
attractive? Some say that a second
language adds mysterious allure. Others say that it just plain sounds
intelligent. Then there’s the fascination
of a whole other culture.
Whatever the
reason, time to brush up on those
dusty old textbooks. It might serve
you well if you’re back on the scene
after many years.
