Might as well laugh

Having a bona fide heart attack on Valentine’s Day?  Might as well laugh.  After all, there’s some ironic humor in that mix.

At least that's what comedian Colin Quinn thinks.  When destiny struck on February 14^th, he struck back with some death-defying quips.  Here are a few of his tweets:

My heart broke on Valentine’s Day. Literally.

A heart attack is a serious thing. When it happens to a celeb let’s double the importance.

My heart goes out to all the people who bought tickets to my show. Literally. My heart went out.

After the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan, the 40^th POTUS was rushed off to surgery.  As he entered the operating room, Reagan allegedly said to the team: Please tell me you’re all Republicans.  Before that, he had told Nancy: Honey, I forgot to duck.

Some say Reagan used humor to comfort the country.  Maybe so.  But it likely comforted him, as well.
