Brain-dead: A misnomer

(Chart by Shin Andy Chung)
Calling someone a vegetable doesn’t make him a carrot, and calling someone brain-dead doesn’t make him hopeless.

Doctors sure found that out when Trenton McKinley awoke from a deep coma.  His blue eyes were now green, and his mother exclaimed: They say when you look upon god… pigment changes… and my baby was in heaven for a whole day… he is a miracle.

We are all miracles, each of us created in God’s own image.  Can one human truly predict the biography of another?  Statistics never tell the whole story, and miracles can squeeze into the tiniest of percentages.
