Keep Living, Don't Die

When Richard Overton met Steve Harvey, he advised the TV personality:  Keep living, don’t die.

These are words that Overton has lived by for 112 years. Currently the world’s oldest World War II veteran, Overton still lives “in the house he built 72 years ago.”  Sitting on the porch, “smoking cigars and drinking whiskey” is one of his favorite pastimes.  He is fortunate enough to have 24-hour care right there at home.

Overton is literally feeling no pain.  He recently told reporters:  I feel fine every day.  The human body is an amazing gift, capable of great endurance.
