Michael, row your own boat

Sure, it’s easier to keep on living with parents at age 30, and even easier to blame everyone but yourself.  But is that really the way to honor those who raised you?  Especially when they’ve nudged you toward independence a gazillion times?

Yes, we’re talking about Michael Rotondo, who has been evicted by his own parents.  After repeatedly urging him to get a job and act responsibly, they finally took him to court.

Rotondo wound up telling the judge that he was too busy concentrating upon being a father to make a living.  But there seems to be a gap in Michael’s story because child custody was denied him.

How so?  Could it be that financial support is an important part of fatherhood?

But only up to a point.  And age 30 could be way past that point.
