Shuffling Off to Freedom

If you want to make a fast getaway in Germany, take the autobahn.  At least that’s what five water buffalo might have thought when they escaped down the highway.

Perhaps they just wanted a (literal) change of pace.  But maybe it was something more.  Maybe they sensed that life on a buffalo farm could spell impending doom.

Nevertheless, these refugees did not break free.  One became stuck in a crash-barrier “wall,” and the others were cornered by trucks and cars.  After being drugged and captured, they were all returned to their field of nightmares.
