The Eagle in the Fox House

Instant Karma...  (Photo by Jonn Leffmann)
If you go around snatching, expect to be snatched in return.

This recently occurred to a kit (baby fox, not baby cat) while clenching a rabbit in its jaws. An eagle-eyed bird happened to notice, then snatched up the kit and caboodle.

The kit was not about to let go of its catch.  Neither was the eagle.  Bigger and stronger, the eagle won out.  It grabbed the rabbit, then dropped the kit from the sky.

Although this constituted robbery, it did not constitute murder.  The kit survived its 20-foot fall, then proceeded to hunt for a different dinner.
