Comey: Leaker or Leader?

After former FBI director James Comey gave hours of thoughtful testimony, all President Trump would publicly admit is that Comey is a “leaker.”

Perhaps that was a typo.  Perhaps Trump meant to say that Comey is a leader.

True leaders often display stamina and integrity.  Authentic leadership includes an open sharing of “thoughts and beliefs, balanced by a minimization of inappropriate emotions.”  It rests upon an “internalized moral perspective,” plus a healthy dose of self-awareness.

It is for each of us to decide whether Comey and his accusers are leaders or leakers.

Perhaps they’re a mixture of both, just as we are.
