First off, he congratulated an arch rival for a stunning victory.
Second, he thanked all supporters, including God and America’s ancestors. Third,
he spoke his piece about the current state of GOP affairs.
Spontaneously, Rubio also assured the crowd that protestors would not be viciously heckled on his watch. That's
a remarkable four-for-four. It couldn't have been easy.
Things have certainly not been perfect along the way. But Rubio has recently shown great resilience and civility, plus an ability to be the bigger man despite all small-minded attacks.
