Joey Feek: A life well-loved

For all the success that country singer Joey Feek has enjoyed, her life is now measured in kisses and hugs.

Terminal cancer has a way of whittling life down to core essentials.  Joey reportedly has just a few days left to live, and husband Rory writes that she “has done all she set out to do… even right to the very end, and by sheer will-power (and God’s grace)…”

These final goals have included saying goodbyes to friends and family, sharing one last kiss with her two-year-old daughter, and experiencing one last Christmas and Valentine’s Day.

These are gifts we can all prioritize, no matter what stage of life we are at.  Once experienced, they can then serve as an inspiration to others.  As Rory recently wrote:  …somehow my wife’s life and ultimately her death, might possibly help or encourage someone else somewhere…  That is a good thing.  No, that is a great thing.
