Walk Like a Woman

Heart attack symptoms for women can be far less obvious than those for men.

Rather than sit back and wonder, women     can literally take a stand and start walking.  Research presented at the American College of Cardiology’s 67th Annual Scientific Session indicates that routine walking can help to prevent heart attacks in women over 50.

How much walking is needed?  “Just 40 minutes several times per week” can reduce said risk by “25 percent.”  That’s a great return from a potentially enjoyable use of time and energy
