But if your
passions lie with the Mars lander, then you might be
thinking Marsquakes. That’s because InSight’s “robotic
arm” successfully lowered a seismometer “onto
the Martian surface.” For the very first
time, humans will be privy to “seismic measurements”
from another planet.
Not only
that, a “heat probe, dubbed the mole" will soon
burrow deep below the Martian surface in order “to
measure internal temperatures.” These Christmas
miracles seemed like science fiction not that long
ago.
