Not a caterpillar, not a snake... it's Worm Moon!

In the wee hours of the 2019 spring equinox, an eerie display is coming our way.

Dubbed “Worm Moon” (so bright you   can see them wiggle), this heavenly body seems super-sized.  That’s because our celestial neighbor will come closer to Earth than usual.

Perhaps the aroma of budding flowers is luring Diana this way.  Those with time to spare can bask in her beauty as she makes her way across tonight’s vernal sky.
