It's easy to sit on the sidelines and jeer

It seems as though watching rather than doing has become a national pastime.

Sitting in the stands hurling insults at athletes is a whole lot easier than standing on the court hurling balls at hoops.  Nevertheless, fans continue to tinge such jeers with blatant disrespect for entire families.

Russell Westbrook had just about enough of this recently.  He rose from the bench and rebounded a few choice words at the
perpetrators.

Although an eye for an eye can make     the whole world blind, Westbrook was responding to a fan base that needs reining in.  The NBA Code of Conduct will hopefully help with that.
