Romance beckons: Why wait?

The Stolen Kiss   (by Jean-Honore Fragonard, 1786)
As they say in the (monkey) biz:  Life is short, so skip to the skippy.

That’s exactly the thinking of drama junkies who can’t let a plot (or romance) slowly build.  They must dart from scene to scene, searching for a passion that can only erupt in spurts.

For these folks, there’s a new product:  Amazon’s Audible Romance package.  It not only serves up continual pablum, but even fast forwards to the parts where sugar and spice predominate.

Quantifying such crescendos seems daunting, but Amazon is up for the task.  Listeners are treated to “Steaminess Scores” for each sultry juncture, ranging “from ‘Sweet’ to ‘O-O-OMG.’”
