Faith in God goes a long way

Ask any algebra teacher whether time and distance are interrelated, and you will probably receive a resounding “Yes!”

Delphine Gibson, America’s oldest person at 114, recently identified what keeps her going.  She attributes such longevity to her faith in God. 

Currently a member of Pennsylvania’s Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Gibson originally hails from South Carolina.  She’s come a long way – in time, distance and faith.
