Here Kitty, Kitty

1, 2, 3...  Awwww!   (Public Domain)
When you come across a cop story in today’s media, it’s not usually warm and fuzzy.  This one, however, is literally both.

When the California Highway Patrol received word of a golden kitten on the Golden Gate Bridge, officers set out to rescue him.  After much searching, they noticed “a little furry head popping out from inside of the movable median barrier.”

Traffic was briefly halted while the “little guy” was freed.  He was then transported to the VCA Madera Pet Hospital, which generously checked him over.  Because the kitten’s owner was unknown, CHP Officer Smith fostered him for a while.  The lucky kitty, renamed Bridges, was then adopted by a caring family.
