Hell on Earth

Proposed Venus In-Situ Explorer     (NASA image)
Whereas Venus the goddess is hot, Venus the planet is considerably hotter.

The stifling heat on Venus is due to a runaway greenhouse effect.  Oceans that may have existed beforehand have long boiled away.  Although the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has concluded that such an
effect cannot be induced by humans, Stephen Hawking strongly disagrees.

The renowned physicist warns that we are quickly reaching an environmental tipping point from which there is no safe return.  Referencing America’s recent withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, Hawking predicts “disastrous consequences.”

He further explains:  Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of 250 degrees, and raining sulfuric acid.  Sounds like Hell on Earth could be fast approaching..
