Heaping helping: Secret’s in the sauce

After nearly 70 years of marriage, tempers might flare.  Such was recently the case in Rome with a 94-year-old husband and his 89-year-old wife.

As the marital dispute grew louder, a neighbor called the police.  The officers who responded noted that this wasn’t a crime scene, but rather a situation where “two souls” needed reassurance.

What better way to calm the situation than to whip up “two plates of pasta.”  When served with butter, cheese and a heap of empathy, this remedy did the trick.

No need to be in Rome to do as these Romans did.  When serving up justice, a little love goes a long way.
