Life: Valuable and short

Another football star has died a premature death.  Michael Tanks, “a first-team All-American at Florida State in 1989” and the “head football coach at Southwest DeKalb,” recently suffered a fatal stroke at age 48.

His former teammate, now-NFL-player Dedrick Dodge, had this to say:  …if you love somebody, tell them.  You see how valuable life is and how short it can be.

Shorter, it seems, when football is heavily in the mix…
