Bing Crosby once sang about a “very strange and mystic” thing that had happened to him. He then crooned that he had seen a dream walking.
Well if that weren’t strange enough, engineers in Shanghai, China recently saw a building walking. Only this was no dream. By way of robotic “legs,” a five-story school had inched its way to a new site, 203 feet away.
It was the Chinese who declared that a long journey begins with a single step. And all the while, we thought they were just referring to humans...
