It’s simple: If you want to atone for marital sins, commission a hologram of your wife’s late father. And if you really want to make it stick, have this hologram declare that you are the world’s greatest genius.
It's a sure bet that your wife will view this spectacle over and over again. Each time that she hears those accolades, your star shines brighter. Pretty soon she’s convinced that you’ll always be the one for her.
Resurrection has long been within the purview of gods. If you take it upon yourself to come up with a fatherly facsimile, does that make you somewhat divine? In your wife’s estimation, it may. In your own, perhaps more so. In God’s, perhaps less so.
