The Dalai Lama recently stated that if Buddha were to return to Earth, he would be green. In other words, environmental health is a top priority.
Although he retired from politics in 2011, the Dalai Lama remains an outspoken advocate of our precious planet. He would love to see nations beating their swords into ploughshares, and calls for overall unity. His concept of unity even (and especially) extends to China, a longstanding oppressor of Tibet.
