Without an army of microswimmers rushing to our internal defense, we might all be sinking fast.
Scientists are now bolstering our bodily systems with microbots that swim through the human bloodstream, delivering medicinal drugs to prime locations. Some of these 3D-print bots creatively resemble "boats and starships."
