Unlikely Companions

Animals often travel in groups of their own species.  Humans do too, although John Steinbeck did take Charley along for the ride.

Bystanders in Goddard, Kansas were recently treated to the sight of a donkey, camel and cow walking down the road together.  These unlikely companions somehow got loose from a nearby property, which got folks wondering which of them first let the others out.

While trying to locate the trio's home, police came up with this timely idea:  “If we cannot locate the owner, we may be halfway towards a live nativity this Christmas season…”
