Take Quilty, for instance.
His knack for escaping has become an internet sensation. And he
doesn’t do it alone. His buddies go with him.
This became an issue for the shelter that tried to contain them. Several times per day, staff would have to retrieve the wayward cats.
But it hasn't been all bad.
The shelter decided to capitalize upon Quilty’s talents. He now has
an Instagram account, along with shirts that bear the slogan “Free Quilty.”
And freed he's been.
Quilty now lives with a “potential adopter.” So far, so good…
